The Rocky Mountain Rogues Rugby Club was established in 1978 and has been active ever since. It has seen many generations of players come and go. Now, the male and female teams come together to play against our East Kootenay rivals, the Elk Valley Bulls and Trail RFC.

The teams competes in the BC Rugby Union Summer League from April to September. In addition to league matches, they also play several tournaments each year to prepare. These include Rucking in the Rockies in Fernie, SunFest in Penticton, and Maggotfest in Missoula.

The Rogues are dedicated to developing rugby in the East Kootenays. Our members coach local high school and rep rugby, host refereeing clinics, lead a regional travelling team called the Kootenay Crusaders, and offer mini rugby programs in the fall and spring.
